Capristo presents a high-quality flap exhaust system for the Audi R8 V10 and V10 Plus (from 2015).
Since the quality decides with Capristo, this exhaust system is manufactured from heat-resistant 1,4828 high-grade steel. This high-quality material gives the Capristo system a long service life. The exhaust systems are manufactured exclusively by hand in a WIG welding process. The systems are then polished to a high gloss. A quality control completes the manufacturing process.
The system achieves 50% weight savings compared to the original.
The rear silencer ONLY complies with the ECE standard in combination with the Capristo CES-3 control unit.
The new Audi R8 model has the option of controlling the exhaust gas flaps as standard. It is possible to use this functionality in combination with the Capristo Performance exhaust system for the Audi R8 or, in conjunction with the programmable controller (CES-3) included in the scope of delivery, to use the already proven Capristo system for dynamic pressure monitoring. This allows the exhaust flaps to be variably programmed for travel and sport mode. The use of the programmable controller enables individualised, smooth driving with closed exhaust gas flaps.
